Stationary Polls
Are the standard, fixed-location polling stations where electors vote in person on election day.
Mobile Polls
A poll staffed by a deputy returning officer and a poll clerk, who travel on election day from institution to institution where seniors or persons with disabilities reside, to take their votes.
Advance Polls
Polling stations open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on the 10th, 9th, 8th, and 7th days before election day, allowing electors to vote early.
SVR
Special Voting Rules (SVR) allow Canadians who cannot or do not wish to vote at an advance or ordinary poll during an election to vote by mail, at an RO office, or through other special means.
